Springtime is where the world comes alive after the winter, and it’s where colors seem brighter and sounds seem clearer, and the air smells sweeter. Personally, I’m actually more of a winter-gal, but that’s just my opinion. Spring is a beautiful season, and I’ve managed to find a few songs that capture the happiness and vibrance of it. As always, my top choice will be in a different color.
1. San Francisco – Scott McKenzie

2. There She Goes – The La’s

3. Put Your Records On – Corinne Bailey Rae
“Three little birds sat on my window, and they told me I don’t need to worry. Summer came like cinnamon, so sweet. Little girls double-dutch on the concrete.”
4. Bubbly – Colbie Caillat

Wherever it goes, I always know that you make me smile, please stay for a while now. Just take your time, wherever you go.”

6. Canyon Moon – Harry Styles

7. Here Comes the Sun – The Beatles
Literally, one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. This song is the beginning of spring. “Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting. Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear.”
8. Three Little Birds – Bob Marley
“Rise up this morning, smiled with the rising sun. Three little birds, pitch by my doorstep, singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true. Saying, ‘This is my message to you’.”
9. Olivia – One Direction

10. Penny Lane – The Beatles

11. Dancing In the Moonlight – King Harvest

12. Daydream Believer – The Monkees
This is my getting ready for school anthem. “Oh, I could hide ‘neath the wings of the bluebird as she sings. The six o’clock alarm would never ring. 13. You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman – Carole King
