September 2020: Music Recap

It’s been yet another month filled with some great song discoveries, so here I’ll be listing all the songs I’ve started listening to over the past month! Also, for those who may care, this past month I sort of got back into my musical theatre phase (I was really into it a couple years ago then randomly fell out of it) so you can expect some reviews of musical soundtracks in the future! Now without further ado, let’s get into the September Music Recap!

FAVORITE SONG DISCOVERY: Afterglow by THE DRIVER ERA

1. Mr. Sandman – The Chordettes

I’ve known this song for a while but I started listening to a lot this September.

2. Heartbreaker – New Parlor

3. Don’t Make It Harder On Me – Chloe x Halle

This song makes me feel like I’m in a movie.

4. Somebody to You – The Vamps

5. Wake Me Up When September Ends – Green Day

6. San Francisco – THE DRIVER ERA

7. Afterglow – THE DRIVER ERA

Okay, honestly, this whole album slaps way too hard. Who knew Ross Lynch could crank out such absolute bangers?

8. This Side of Paradise – Coyote Theory

9. I Saw the Light – Todd Rundgren

10. Can’t Hardly Wait – The Replacements

      1. I just looked at it and we definitely like a lot of the same songs. Dancing Through Life (and basically the entire soundtracks of Les Mis and Phantom of the Opera) are some of my favorites

      2. Sounds like we both love a lot of the same musicals.

Les Mis and Wicked combined are why I am the musical fanatic I am today
