Not gonna lie, it kind of hurts me to begin writing this review right now because I know that this will probably be the last 1D album I am to ever review on this blog – unless of course, they come back, which I hope happens but don’t wanna get my hopes up for. This album is my favorite of all of their albums. I’ve always thought that Four and Made In the A.M. are basically equal but opposite albums. They’re equally good, but they have very different sounds, so the one that you like better will basically come down to your music preference.

One Direction: Four (2014) Song Ranking
With Midnight Memories, One Direction started to move away from the bubblegum-pop sound of their first two albums and into a more mature realm of songwriting. While I think that Midnight Memories is a great album, I also think it only planted the seeds for what became One Direction’s unique, personal sound. Four is the full bloom, and it sounds more artistic and personal than anything that came before it.
One Direction: Midnight Memories (2013) Songs Ranked
Midnight Memories was One Direction’s first great album. Up All Night and Take Me Home were both fun and charming and cute, but I wouldn’t call them great. The growth from those two albums that is evident in this one makes me very proud. Midnight Memories says goodbye to bubblegum pop and hello to rock-influence and even some folk-flavor.
One Direction: Take Me Home (2012) Song Ranking
In this post I’ll be ranking all the songs from One Direction’s second studio album, Take Me Home, from worst to best. This ranking is based on my personal enjoyment and connection to the songs, so sorry if I put your favorite at the bottom.
One Direction: Up All Night (2011) Song Ranking
In this post I’ll be ranking all the songs on One Direction’s first studio album, Up All Night, from worst to best. I don’t normally include deluxe tracks in these reviews, but I feel like all the One Direction songs, deluxe or not, are so important within the fan base that it would be wrong to overlook them (and there are some real gems within the deluxe tracks).
